Natalie Gehrke-Buhrow was stillborn at 20 weeks in May, while her brother Mason gave his parents Desiree Buhrow-Olson and Tom Gehrke just enough time to say hello. Desiree, who lives in Blair, in Wisconsin, America, posted the images of the couple’s babies on Facebook and Instagram less than a week ago – some picture Mason when he was still alive, some after both babies had passed – and she knows that they could upset some people. But the 21-year-old says that she wanted to show her loved ones her young family – no matter how long Natalie, weighing 9.1oz and 9.25in long, and Mason, 9oz and 9.5in, had lived – and that writing about them online, helps her cope. She said: “I loved my babies – including our other triplet, their sister Madeline, who died in the womb in February – and there are so many other people that cared for them. I wouldn’t have wanted them not being able to see their grand-babies, nieces, nephews.. so I posted the pictures. “I wrote on Facebook I was going to do it, and said, ‘if you don’t want to see them, message me’, but everyone wants to. It’s closure for them. “I know that the pictures are a little much for some people, but I think they’re still very pretty.
